Maple Field (4-acres) lies in the north-west corner of Hampshire, England within the Parish of Martin situated 12 miles from Salisbury and 6 miles from Fordingbridge which is on the edge of the New Forest National Park.
Martin is a magnificent ‘Downland’ village (described by W.H.Hudson in The Shepherd’s Life (1910)) with one fifth of it designated as a National Nature Reserve – Martin Down – (1000 acres).
